Thrown by Jo Keogh
Hello,
Firstly, thank you for visiting my page. Secondly here’s a little info about me.
I’m Jo, a passionate potter! Pottery has popped up at various stages in my life. As a young teenager I would go to a saturday morning class to paint a pot and start to get a feel for clay, then again briefly at 6th form college where I began a ceramics A level until I decided 6th form wasn’t the right education setting for me. Fast forward nearly 20 years where I embarked on a throwing weekend course at 7 Limes Pottery, taught by, my now friend and colleague, Sam Andrew. I fell in love with pottery again and since that course I cannot live without making in clay. I have learnt and now teach a range of techniques but the main focus for my commercial work is wheel thrown, functional pottery. All pieces are thrown on the wheel with love, finished with precision and care, and ready for you to enjoy as you relax with a cuppa or fill with food to enjoy with friends.
